Thesis Book Guide. Preliminary approach

a. Dedication and Acknowledgements. You might include
a famous “Quote” by a philosopher, Thinker, Architect, Grandpa; you might include some pictures of the people that participated in your thesis, your family, your pet…..
b. Preface …..Something about the experience of making your Thesis,
c. Thesis Statement; Using the Language of architecture, briefly describe your project….city, site, program, volumetric approach, green program…..
d. Objectives of Thesis; bullet point briefly the achievements you are pursuing ….i.e Integrating the Urban Context, Providing a “Bridge” from Old to New buildings, Explore the use of new technologies/materials, etc.
e. Critical Position; This is a briefly background of the “Problem” you might choose different angles to it: social, political, aesthetic….
f. “Theoretical Framework”; briefly present the thoughts of Thinkers in architecture that have influenced your education…..i.e. Koolhaas, Derrida, Deleuze, Tchumi……At this stage mention what is what you believe in Architecture….Minimalism, Deconstructivism, Structuralism,…..

6. Review of Literature

d. Conclusion: What you got after reviewing all thes materials.

7. Typology Time-Line
a. Design a graphic statement (images) of the history of your typology.

8. From the Milky Way to the Site in the City; briefly (bullet points) describe the way you see your project in today’s world. Define a “Micro Zone” where your project will be placed and then provide easy to read information regarding your “Micro zone” Copy-pasting is not enough I need the interpretation of the charts and Data. This is what I call “Site Analysis”
